As a service to the Adam’s Hope House community, acupuncture is now being offered to its participants and family members.
Every Monday* at 7PM, Licensed Acupuncturist, Amy Podhurst will facilitate a Community Acupuncture session during which time all patients will receive treatments in the same room.
- Each individual will receive a detoxification protocol designed to reduce anxiety, calm the nervous system and balance the organs.
- This treatment consists of the placement of small needles in five acupuncture points in each ear for the stress relieving and balancing effect on the body.
- Alternately, ear seeds or magnets attached to the skin on tiny bandages can be used instead of needles.
